Many Aphonopelma seemani (Costa Rican Zebra Knee) can appear to have blue tinge to them, especially after a fresh molt. There has been ongoing debate in the hobby as to whether or not there really is a separate and unique population of them. Some will say its only a sales tactic used by dealers. We are offering them as a distinct listing because we acquired them as 'blue'. And we do believe the that these came from a separate lineage than many of the wild caught seemani found in the hobby.
